US Air Force Pilot Reports UFO Sighting In Leaked Air Traffic Control Audio

A US Air Force pilot claims to have had a close encounter with an unidentified flying object, according to recently leaked air traffic control recordings.
The pilot, who was operating a Beechcraft 350 C on a classified mission, was flying through controlled airspace in California on September 17 last year when he reported an unexpected sight - an object about the size of a football passing near his aircraft.
Details from his communication with air traffic control, which has since been leaked and obtained by NewsNation, reveal that the jet, flying at 20,000 feet, nearly collided with the mysterious object. The incident occurred on a clear afternoon at 2:30 p.m, with no apparent explanation for what the pilot saw.
The pilot, using the call sign Troy 21, can be heard informing air traffic control: "This is going to sound weird, but I just had something pass underneath my wing."
He followed up with: "Maybe a football-sized object right under my wing."
To illustrate what happened, an animated video has been created, depicting a cylindrical object zipping past the aircraft in a way that raises more questions than answers.
According to reports, the jet was involved in a covert mission connected to the Department of Homeland Security when the sighting occurred.
The air traffic controller then asked the pilot if he believed the object could have been a drone. The pilot responded: "Uh, I have no idea. I've got my sensor operator looking for it on the camera right now."
He elaborated further: "It was like a dark gray cylindrical object and it was probably the size of a football and it passed maybe 10 feet under our right wing,"

About two minutes later, the pilot was able to track the object again and estimated that it had traveled roughly 60 miles from his current position.
In the leaked audio, another air traffic controller can be heard discussing the UFO sighting before saying: "That's all taken care of now."
Former FBI agent and UFO investigator Ben Hansen, who shared the audio exclusively on Banfield, explained that the aircraft was equipped with an advanced radar system designed to track drug smugglers.
Hansen pointed out that this encounter was particularly unusual, given that the object was moving through a controlled airspace with no scheduled air traffic in the vicinity.
"So when they called this thing in - it's broad daylight, they got a good look at this thing," Hansen explained, adding, "This cylindrical, dark object that passes underneath their wing so close, so I mean obviously you can see there are big problems with that happening in a controlled air space like they were, and they weren't notified of any air traffic that was supposed to be in the area."
Commenting on the object's speed and altitude, Hansen noted that it seemed unlikely to be a drone, particularly in such a restricted airspace.
He stated: "It could be, it'd be very rare, but hobby drones can go up that high, obviously military can as well. This occurred near what we call military operations area but it was not in that airspace."
"So anyone who was flying something to test a commercial type of drone or something would've had to call in."
"The other thing that is very interesting about this is you hear them tracking this object about 60 miles away because they've got their own airborne radar and the pilot calls back."
Hansen added that while it's debatable whether the radar could track something so small from 60 miles away, if it indeed did, the object's speed would have been around Mach 2 effectively ruling out any standard drone.
